Program Director Larry Paul to speak about the benefits of small sided games

Soccer coaches, parents and players from Eastern PA, New York and New Jersey will be descending on the Best Western LeHigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center for the First Annual "All American Soccer Workshop." This inaugural event will feature some of the biggest names in United States soccer history. Among those who will be attending and speaking will be Walter Bahr, a stand out member of every US National Team between 1947 and ’56. Mr Bahr played a key role in the United States victory over England in 1950.

He will be joined by three time World Cupper and Hal of Famer Tab Ramos. There will be a number of field sessions and presentations by coaches like Locke Havens University’s Doug Moore, a veteren of 13 years in the English Primier League, Manfred Schellscheidt, Seton Hall University and one of the original USSF A License Coaches, Rick Meana, New Jerseys Director of Coaching and many more.
The overall theme of the workshop is player and family soccer development with a goal of improving the enjoyment, awareness, interest and passion for the sport for everyone. It will demonstrate the right way of introducing people to the sport and making soccer a fun-filled lifetime experience. The workshop is for players, their parents and their coaches regardless of state and league affiliations.

"This is a great opportunity to continue networking for scholarship candidates and to spread the word about small sided games. Many of the presenters here have been very involved in this aspect of the game and I look forward to exchanging ideas" said CNSF Program Director Larry Paul.
