The CNSF was proud to sponsor Lauren Sommer of Carmel Indiana to the IYSA/USYS National Youth Diploma Course this December 4 - 14 at DePauw University.

 

For the third year in a row this course was being offered to a select group of youth coaches. The curriculum is based on the proper educational methods for coaching children ages twelve years old and younger. This year was extra special as Tom Goodman, US Youth Soccer's Director of Coaching joined Dr. Ron Quinn and IYSA's Vince Ganzberg in instructing the course.

 

CNSF Vice President Mima Nedelcovych, Program Director Larry Paul and board member Misha Rebec were able to meet with Lauren and observe her take her practical exam. Lauren was especially delighted in having the opportunity to attend the course and commented on how much she had learned from the instructors.
