CNSF youth coach John King attended a weekend coaching course at St. Albans School in Washington, D.C.. The clinic was organized by Kevin McShane, author of Coaching Soccer the European Way, and was conducted by Ludek Prochazka the head youth coach of Slavia Prague, one of the Czech Republics leading clubs. Also helping at this three day clinic was Rudolf Psotta, a youth coach in Prague and a professor of Sport Science at the Charles University in the Czech Republic and Rick Lawes, the Director of Communications for CONCACAF.

 

John was very excited about attending this course as he had just finished the Dutch Vision course held at St. James School. It was an excellent opportunity for him to compare the different styles of coaching from two leading European soccer countries.
